(the rules are from the site I found it on...)
IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.
Now...Here is the soundtrack to my life:
Opening credits:
Lenka - The Show (oh, yeah
Waking up:
Linkin Park - Leave out all the rest
(its a rather jumpy song dont hate me because I disagree yeah I am usually like that when I wake up
First day of school:
Nat King Cole - Im in the mood for love
(now, it depends on which first day of school it was, right? Im thinking highschool, cuz I wasnt in THAT mood when I was 7
Falling in love:
Carter Burwell - The lion fell in love with the lamb
(now, I reaaaally didnt cheat!!! its a nice instrumental, of course, but the title says it all
Fight song:
Sia - Butterflies
(haha, I guess Im no longer a fighter
Breaking up:
Nickelback - Rockstar
(well it is a little bit of a frustrated song, isnt it?
Prom:
Coldplay - Daylight
(quite a trance-y song, nice for swaying on the dance floor
life's just OK:
Greenday - Fashion Victim
(I swear Im not
Mental breakdown:
The Fray - She is
(this is a somewhat sad song its obvious the mental breakdown comes from a breakup, cuz it matches the lyrics only the song is from His perspective.. doesnt matter, it fits)
Driving:
Plain White Ts - Shine
(I think you've had too much to drink, Can't even talk when you're this way haha, I guess Im not driving
Flashback:
Coldplay - Green Eyes
(its about two people reuniting it works for flashing memories anyway, I LOVE the song)
Getting back together:
Evanescence - Whisper
(well, its a passionate song
Birth of child:
HIM - Rebel yell
(haha, yeah, giving birth deals with yells
Wedding:
Robert Pattinson - Ill be your lover too
(oh dear yes, perfect wedding song I will be your man and Ill understand and Ill do my best to take good care of you Youll be my queen and Ill be your king and Ill be your lover too yes, I want this to be my wedding song
Final battle:
Counting Crows - Accidentally in love
(hahahaha I guess I reaaaally am not a fighter
Death scene:
Apocalyptica - Domination
(Id go down with a bang and thered be a cello playing, cuz I just love em )
Funeral song:
The Verve Pipe - Colorful
( The show is over close the story book / There will be no encore ( ) We'll live in drama but we'll die in a comedy yeah, it works half sad half happy )
End credits:
Kings of Leon - Closer (oh how I love this song its perfect to wrap up my movie life )
So there it was...the soundtrack for my life's movie... I think it's nice, eclectic, just the way I am...
And sorry for flooding your watchlist with this rather useless post
Lots of hugs for everyone
Silvia
PS: also, tomorrow I'm going to Cluj to apply for housing in the University's dorms... this just reminds me that I am only a month away from going to University...and I'll be a college student...and I'm happy
